These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the SalonWorx NZ website and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order you agree to these terms. SalonWorx NZ is operated by Salon Warehouse Australia and supplies professional salon and hair care products to customers across New Zealand.
General
SalonWorx NZ assumes that customers purchasing from this store have prior knowledge and/or experience regarding the proper use of the products sold. We do not take any responsibility for the misuse or inappropriate use of any product sold. It is your responsibility to follow the manufacturer's instructions, including patch testing colour and chemical products before use.
Products will only be dispatched once they have been fully paid for. Minor variations will occur from time to time, and the actual product may vary slightly from the pictures or photos shown on the website.
Pricing & GST
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of GST at 15% unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. A tax invoice showing the GST component is provided with every order.
Shipping & Freight
We ship nationwide across New Zealand. The freight automatically quoted by the website is for non-bulky items weighing a total of 5kg or less. Estimated delivery times and any shipping costs are shown at checkout based on your delivery address.
Bulky items such as furniture, trolleys, wash basins and pedestal hair dryers generally attract an additional freight surcharge. This surcharge may vary depending on whether the delivery address is a rural or remote location. In such situations, SalonWorx NZ reserves the right to adjust freight charges, and we will contact you before proceeding where an adjustment is required.
Damaged or Short-Sent Items
All short-sent items and damaged goods must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the goods. The onus is on the receiver to provide digital images of any damaged items. Please do not dispose of any faulty, leaking or damaged products, as we may need to return them to the supplier for assessment. Any refunds or replacements are at the discretion of SalonWorx NZ following assessment of the claim, and always subject to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Cancellations, Returns & Restocking
If you need to amend or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible — changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed, as orders are typically dispatched quickly. Cancelled or returned products may be subject to a $25 restocking fee. Change-of-mind returns are accepted on retail products only where the item is unopened and unused, with return shipping at your cost. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
Professional Products
Professional products are intended for use by, or under the guidance of, trained hair care professionals. These products are sold subject to hygiene and safety conditions and have different change-of-mind return entitlements compared with general retail goods. Certain products are available on a trade-only basis and may require a valid trade account.
Promotions
Several promotions may run at one time; however, only one promotion works per shopping cart at a time. Individual promotions and offers are stand-alone and do not work in combination with any other promotion. Each promotion has its own rules that must be met for it to activate.
Gift-with-purchase (GWP) promotions are available until the product runs out, with no announcement of when this will be; all other promotions will have an end date. Most promotional offers apply only to products listed under the Shop menu. Trade and professional bulk-buy products are not included in any promotion at any time, as these are already heavily discounted. Electricals are not eligible for any discounts or promotional offers, and we reserve the right to remove any discount or promotion applied to an electrical purchase.

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and branding, is owned by or licensed to SalonWorx NZ and Salon Warehouse Australia and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the relevant product. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Privacy & Governing Law
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
